LAKE FOREST — As the Bears returned to the practice field Monday following three days off, so too did defensive tackle Stephen Paea.
"I did a little running today, see how it feels. So we’re shooting for Sunday, but we’ll see," he told reporters.
Paea missed the last two games with turf toe. He has 13 tackles, a ½ sack and a tackle for loss this season.
“We’re optimistic. He worked out here today so we’re optimistic, he’ll have the rest of the day off and tomorrow and be ready to go," Marc Trestman said.
Charles Tillman, who missed his first start since 2009 last Thursday because of a knee injury, did not practice Monday. James Anderson also missed practice after injuring his back late in the win over the Giants and Martellus Bennett (knee) did not practice.
